Yankee candles have been around for decades now - they're a huge brand in the Western world and at one time had a bit of a monopoly on the sophisticated scented candle industry. In the last 10 years many copy cat companies have tried and failed to recreate the fabulous smells, however a few have stayed around and continue to do well - One of these companies is Village Candle.
The candles come in various sizes and urn times - from small tea lights to large jars with 100 plus hours of burning ahead of them, similar to their rivals. Many Yankee candle reviews give them the highest ratings, above and beyond that of the rest and I agree, you just can't beat it. The review site here gives the candles rating depending on the scents, throw and relaxation of that particular smell, which is a good idea because generally when you light them up you're wanting to sit back and relax, possibly even meditate!
They have funny scents at times, especially the Christmas gift candles such as cake and candy cane - with very sweet flavours, but they smell absolutely gorgeous.
